Decking Starter & Slatted Cladding Bottom Clips – 20 Sets
Stainless steel 8mm clips with matching stainless steel screws, supplied as 20 clips and 20 screws. Use as starter clips for compatible Majestic decking, or as bottom clips for Majestic vertical slatted cladding.
Vertical slatted cladding: two bottom clips per board
Fit the board first, then secure its groove-side installation clips. Fit two bottom clips per board after the board and installation clips, with the board bottom flush with the bottom batten. Tuck each clip into the bottom of a hollow flute and screw it into the batten using its supplied stainless steel screw. Finish both bottom clips before moving on to the next board.
Allow approximately five groove-side installation clips per 2.5m board or seven per 3.6m board, plus the two bottom clips. Fit an installation clip at every supporting batten and allow extra for cut pieces, joins and openings.
Composite decking: starter clips go first
Fit starter clips before positioning the first decking board, following the installation guide for your decking range. These secure the starting edge; use the appropriate centre fixing clips between subsequent boards.
Horizontal slatted cladding
Use one starter clip per supporting batten along the bottom row. The two-bottom-clips-per-board sequence above applies to vertical slatted cladding.

Which postcodes have the southwest rate?
PL, EX, TQ, TA, DT, BH and mainland TR postcodes, including Plymouth, Exeter, Torquay, Taunton, Dorchester, Bournemouth and Truro.
Isles of Scilly postcodes TR21–TR25 are excluded from mainland rates. Please contact us before ordering for delivery to the Isles of Scilly or other offshore destinations. The Cotswolds remains within the standard England rate.

Products assigned to our Samples and Fixings delivery profiles receive free UK Royal Mail Tracked 24 delivery. Mixed baskets containing boards or other larger materials follow the applicable delivery charge shown at checkout.
We aim to deliver project materials together. Items coming from another warehouse or a manufacturer may have different lead times; we will confirm the arrangements.
