Three simple habits
- Keep the surface clear. Remove loose leaves and debris regularly, including around board gaps and drainage areas.
- Deal with spills promptly. Follow your product’s cleaning instructions rather than leaving marks to settle.
- Check before treating. Ask us before using a specialist cleaner, abrasive treatment or pressure washer.
Know your finish
Signature: natural woodgrain character
Our uncapped Signature boards can naturally weather as they settle into their surroundings. Compare colours in similar lighting and follow the guidance for your particular decking, cladding or fencing product. Do not sand, paint or seal boards without checking the relevant instructions first.

Send our team a photograph, the product name and colour, your order number if available, and details of anything already used on the surface. We can help identify the appropriate next step before you try a stronger treatment.
