Specifically designed for installations where a standard angle trim isn’t wide enough, our L Trim is the ideal finishing profile for deeper window and door reveals, feature walls, house extensions, garden rooms and bespoke composite cladding projects.
Featuring a 40mm x 60mm profile, this versatile trim is perfect for situations where the recess exceeds 50mm - a common occurrence when installing composite slatted cladding onto a single-battened subframe. With our slatted cladding boards measuring 26mm thick and standard timber battens typically 25mm, the total build-up often requires additional coverage around windows and doors. The 60mm return provides the extra depth needed to achieve a clean, professional finish without compromise.
Unlike larger trims, the L Trim has a slimmer 40mm visible face, creating a more subtle, refined appearance. This smaller profile helps minimise overlap onto the slatted face of the cladding, making it the ideal solution when boards have been cut or ripped close to a slat. The result is a cleaner installation that preserves the continuous shadow lines and contemporary architectural aesthetic of the cladding.

Which postcodes have the southwest rate?
PL, EX, TQ, TA, DT, BH and mainland TR postcodes, including Plymouth, Exeter, Torquay, Taunton, Dorchester, Bournemouth and Truro.
Isles of Scilly postcodes TR21–TR25 are excluded from mainland rates. Please contact us before ordering for delivery to the Isles of Scilly or other offshore destinations. The Cotswolds remains within the standard England rate.
Samples, fixings & mixed orders
Products assigned to our Samples and Fixings delivery profiles receive free UK Royal Mail Tracked 24 delivery. Mixed baskets containing boards or other larger materials follow the applicable delivery charge shown at checkout.
We aim to deliver project materials together. Items coming from another warehouse or a manufacturer may have different lead times; we will confirm the arrangements.
Preparing for delivery
Tell us about narrow roads, restricted access or unloading requirements before delivery. Please keep the unloading area clear. Our team will confirm arrangements for large or heavy orders and unload where it is safe and practical.
